At Casa Carotondo there are two holiday apartments newly available for letting (see also 1 bedroom Apartment Priora). Located in the central Italian region of Le Marche (the Marches), Casa Carotondo has been sensitively renovated to a high standard in the traditional style but with environmental sustainability and modern comfort in mind. Surrounding the holiday apartments is a large garden for sole use of our guests to relax and enjoy the view. The former farmhouse sits atop a small hill surrounded by farm and woodland. The views of the Sibillini Mountains are spectacular.
Interior and exterior
Apartment Vettore sleeps 4-6 people. It has its own entrance and and outdoor terrace for al fresco dining. There is a view of the mountains from the terrace. The apartment has been newly renovated throughout to a high standard with the old stone walls left exposed where practicable.
The unusually large windows, high ceilings and generous room sizes make this apartment pleasantly light and airy. The windows face northwest with a view of hills and woodland. This aspect means that the apartment stays cool in summer.
The apartment is about 80sqm. in size and has a seperate kitchen boasting a modern fully equipped kitchen including a microwave, gas cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, toaster and filter coffee machine.
Living area: The living area is unusually large containing a dining table and chairs. For relaxation there are two comfortable sofas (one is a sofa bed). There is satelite TV, a DVD player and sound system in the flat. We have a small library of DVDs for guests.
Bedrooms and bathrooms: The main bedroom of the apartment contains a double bed with side tables, a chest of drawers, mirror and wardrobe. The bathroom is en-suite. The second bedroom contains two single beds with side tables, a chest of drawers, mirror and wardrobe. The bathroom is just across the corridor. Each bathroom comprises a toilet, bidet, shower and washbasin. The arrangements for the beds can be changed with sufficient notice.
Other: The wood burning stove will provide a warm cosy atmosphere during those cool evenings. For very cold days there is the additional convenience of a full central heating system.

Surroundings
Casa Carotondo is conveniently located near the picturesque town of Sarnano with its shops, market and other tourist facilities. A number of important medieval towns with their respective cultural riches such as Macerata, Tolentino and Ascoli Piceno are within easy reach. The Sibillini Mountains are close offering opportunities for hiking, cycling and many other sports. If all that sounds too much just drive up there, have a picnic and take in the views. The Adriatic coast with its blue flag beaches also beckons. An excellent location for watersports, lounging in the sun or trying out those beach-side fish restaurants. Casa Carotondo offers the ideal location for a holiday of culture, activity or quiet relaxation.

Conditions and additional information
All prices are inclusive of hot water, central heating, electricity, gas, bed-linen, towels and the final cleaning of the apartment.
The first box of logs is free thereafter a small fee will be charged.
For those staying more than a week the apartment will be cleaned after 7 days by arrangement. Bed-linen and towels will also be changed.
Guests should arrive after 4pm and leave by 11am unless by prior arrangement.
A welcome box of food can be purchased by arrangement.
While every effort has been made to make the area around Casa Carotondo safe for children, there are some steep areas of ground and other potential dangers. Young children should, therefore, be supervised at all times.
A deposit of 30% has to be received by us before a booking is secured.
Cancellation of your booking from eight weeks or less before your arrival date will result in a loss of this money.
Final payment should be made 4 weeks before arrival.
Bookings should be for at least 3 nights and will be calculated on a pro rata basis of the weekly rate.
Outside the high season there is more flexibility in booking periods especially on a last minute basis.
Returnees will be granted a 10% reduction in prices.
