ABOUT PROPERTY

This lovely villa comprises of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and spacious lounge and living area. Original parts of the villa date back to the late 18th century and it is full of charm and character. The villa enjoys plenty of outside space with a terrace ideal for outside eating, and an extended garden. Here you are invited to help yourself to the odd tomato and pick the odd fruit! The villa also has a swimming pool which is ideal for cooling off in the hot summer season.

The villa is located in a beautiful tranquil setting (1.8km from the local village) and is surrounded by stunning scenery. Great views can be enjoyed of the valley where olive groves and vine yards blot the landscape. There is an ancient monastery ruin located 0.6km from the villa which is often used as a local picnic area.

Local area details

The villa is ideally located. If you wish to stay local, the village is but a short 10 minute walk away and the nearest towns are about a 10 minute drive. The nearest city is half an hour drive and it is well worth spending a day there discovering its historical cathedral, galleries, shops and excellent restaurants.

It is also well worth considering a drive to the coast which takes about an hour.

GUEST BOOK

"What a fantastic two weeks we have had here! The house is extremely comfortable and the pool a very welcome cool oasis. We have explored the area and have seen some wonderful sights. Siena, Cortona and Assisi being some of our highlights. The food, (well what can you say) has been fantastic too. We have eaten our way through all Tuscan delicacies including hare and boar.
We shall always remember our wonderful holiday!"

Nicole, Roger & Freddie - Bedfordshire, UK - August 2007

"Thank you for an amazing week in your Tuscan cottage! Sogna is more serene and beautiful than words can ever describe! We have enjoyed touring Tuscany as well as relaxing by the pool, under the fig tree drinking wine and exploring the pathways! We hope to return SOMEDAY!"

Stephanie & Bill - Ontario, Canada - June 2007

"Buon Natale! What a magical place to hideaway from the world for a week and celebrate Christmas. We loved exploring the beautiful Tuscan villages, especially San Gimignano where we got engaged! A gorgeous cottage, great food, plenty of local wine and an amazing holiday to finish three years of living and working in London before we head home to Sydney.
Thank you so much for sharing this treasure with us."

Erin & Ben - Sydney, Australia - May 2007
